Medal at international stage is a big achievement, a dream which is nurtured for years, a passion followed until it becomes a calling. Basically, every action converges into larger objective, every activity undertaken is objective oriented. Just to make ”it” happen in the every next event. And the intent is absolutely clear. P V Sindhu, Dipa Karmakar, Sakshi Malik, Lalita Babar few highlights at Rio Olympic for INDIA. They are now household names while breaking the glass ceiling. Which makes them more vulnerable to criticism in future as the expectations will be higher at their each outing. The god like abilities are minimum expectations in our country but investing to inculcate the same are yet to be tabled in the agendas of federations or other authorities. Increase in number of visitors & officials is always on the rise with each passing year and thus financial allocation, without fail. However, at Olympic symbolic of success and impact is directly related to making it to the winner podium. This is slowly on the rise for India with personal efforts and power of passion inspite of all odds. Which makes players, a champion in and off the field.

Sports Olympics v/s Skill Olympics Finally, at the fag end of biggest multi sport event India is able to leave mark in the history of Olympics - Rings of Glory - at Rio. Both, the winners have achieved this landmark mainly due to:  1. Individual events  2. Personal passion  3. Real Coach 4. Family support 5. Few other minor factors One of the most important aspect of Sports in India is still a personal passion. Which enables an individual player to find the best support system for themselves. Genuine Coach being top priority. And the results are showing.
