Expert, an illusory superiority

In India, everybody is an expert on almost every subject.  Mostly, one comes across these characters in meetings, conferences, committees, competitions etc. Most represent institutions, councils, organisations or are independent consultants. Very limited portion among these are actual SME (subject matter expert), in other cases its  "so-called" SCE (self claimed expert).  There are few typical characteristics of SCE's: High on confidence & Low on knowledge Compromised integrity/bias &  illusory superiority  Low ability & external perception of high ability  It is  hilarious to hear SCE and actually ironical to witness that a bunch of jokers even represent country at times.  However, SCE are preferred due to castles they can build in air, articulating fake patriotism and mediocrity in standard. Thus, displaying lack of knowledge.  But, who makes them experts? who finds them? ..people heading significa...

PPP, a farce !!

PPP model..really ineffective. Primarily, due to rewarding culture for mediocrity at operational level and bureaucratic style of leadership. Essentially, due to highly inexperienced advisory group ( chamchas ) that top management cocoon itself with. This group is expert in displaying "Artificial Intelligence" which is accepted by the decision makers while the overall purpose gets bruised with each task & decision, on a daily basis. Members of Artificially Intelligent Advisory Group (AIAG) are usually niece/nephews etc etc to highest official or his friends who are obliged for a purpose which changes time to time. This majorly reflects in annual appraisals where it is predictable that enough or perhaps all of these characters will be rewarded y-o-y. Sic !! More so, this culture prevails in each organization which has govt. funding. Bureaucracy gets injected automatically, biasness is well known, pleasing known people through public money takes precedence and above ...
